GOD WILL FOREVER BE MY HERO

Charms…

One Friday night, we were walking along this aisle in Somerset when I saw a stall that sells different charms.  I never really had a plan to buy one but then I saw a “flat iron” charm which I’ve been looking for in the past few months so I had to get it right away.

The lady told me it’s 10sgd for 7 charms in a bracelet.  So I had to pick my top 7 choices out of more than 100 charms.

I picked charms that are most relevant to me and mark.

CROSS - represents God of course.  To continuously bless our relationship and it also symbolizes how thankful I am to the Man above for giving me a wonderful man like Mark.

CAP - Mark likes to wear caps.

GUITAR - He likes to play the guitar and he’s damn good in playing it.  I was also looking for keyboards and drums but it’s not available.

FLAT IRON - Where it all started.  He let me borrow his flat iron when I was just starting in Singapore.  He used the flat iron as an excuse so there’s something for us to talk about.

RULER - Can’t think of anything that can symbolize taking measurements, or calculating spaces.  I was originally looking for a compass that usually symbolizes his profession, but to no avail.

BICYCLE - He enjoyed our “Star Olympics” biking session which only happened once.  Add to that our Pulau Ubin rough-road cycling.  Hope to have more biking sessions with him.

TEA - He likes to drink tea, and he’s the reason why I get used to drinking tea.  I like teasing him “Uncle Mark” because of this habit.  It’s usually the old people in Singapore who drinks tea during meals instead of a cold regular drink.
